Happy Weekend, BMSS Families!
We hope you all enjoy a safe and happy three-day weekend! It is hard to believe how quickly the year is moving—so many great things are in full swing here at South. Our students are learning, growing, and settling into their routines, and we are excited about the progress we are seeing each day.
This week we had the great priviliage of officially opening our esports room- "The Charging Station.", This amazing space was the creation of our librarian and esports sponsor, Mrs. Fitzpatrick. It was made possible by our amazing PTO! THANK YOU! We look forward to the amazing things that our esports teams will accomplish!
We have noticed an increase in students bringing squishy toys, plush items, and other small distractions to campus. While we understand these items can be fun and comforting, they can also become a distraction from learning. Please help us by keeping these items at home unless they are specifically needed for a classroom activity or approved by a teacher.
September is Attendance Awareness Month! We encourage every BMSS student to be here each and every day, ready to learn and striving to be their very best self. Every day matters, and consistent attendance helps students build relationships, stay connected to instruction, and reach their goals.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We are so grateful for our BMSS families and the positive energy you bring to our campus each day!
